Let me savour each and every inch,
The world is my oyster, travelling my joy,
Let me make it look like a cinch!
Hither thither suddenly find me gone,
One step two steps slowly I tread on.
Strange lands with stranger tides wait for me,
Oh what exquisite sites I await to see.
Is it the deep blue sea that beckons me thus?
Could it be the simple joy of engulfing the forest air?
Maybe the titillating lush green meadows that evade us
And bind us to a tumultuous emotional wheelchair.
Take me to the wondrous peaks of the Alps,
Maybe a dip in the stunning fall of the Angel,
Or a walk atop the astounding Great Wall,
Better yet, why not maybe one and all?
Take me to the wondrous peaks of the Alps,
Maybe a dip in the stunning fall of the Angel,
Or a walk atop the astounding Great Wall,
Better yet, why not maybe one and all?
Go a ten mile, go thousands if you will,
Nevertheless discontented the mind is,
Till the next journey is discovered uphill
Call this you shall the wanderlust predilection.
